Get Broadcasting requires a Broadcast Manager
We are recruiting a Broadcast Manager to lead the live events side of our business. The ideal candidate will join a team of seven and play an active role in the overall development of the team, and the business going forward.
The successful candidate must have:
- A minimum of 3-5 years’ industry experience.
- An excellent working knowledge of Livestream Studio, vMix, Atem, and similar live streaming software & equipment on both Windows and Mac OS.
- Experience using NDI technology for networking devices, cameras, laptops and remote contributors.
- An in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Teams, Riverside.FM, Zoom, and other similar conferencing software.
- Experience in networking and IT set-up and management for broadcast events.
- Experience in vison mixing and directorial experience with multi-camera set-ups, for a variety of standard and hot-head cameras.
- Experience in set-up and use of audio equipment for conferences and studio broadcast events.
- Experience with the set-up and use of lighting equipment for standard and green screen studio settings.
- A clean driving licence, including for Manual Vehicles.
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint).
- Problem-solving skills.
- Strong ability to collaborate with the team.
- Professional demeanour when working with and in front of clients.
The successful candidate may also:
- Have a true passion for live stream technology and a drive & enthusiasm to ensure that clients receive top quality service.
- Knowledge of Vimeo, ON24, Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Drive), Zoom, WeTransfer and Dropbox would also be advantageous.
- Be quick to adapt to new processes and systems.
- Experience in camera operation, lighting and audio will prove invaluable.
This role is based in Dublin City. The ideal candidate is currently residing in Ireland, living in and/or willing to commute to Dublin City Centre, and willing to travel outside of Dublin for work purposes. Broadcasting is a fast-paced work environment. Applicants would be expected to work quickly, within teams and independently. They will be required to demonstrate creativity, outside-the-box thinking, problem-solving while still adhering to a prescribed brief and company or client guidelines. Organisational skills and attention to detail are of the utmost importance.
