Brendan Glynn’s Story

In May 2022, we visited Brendan Glynn in his hometown of Mallow, Co. Cork. Brendan is one of 36 seriously injured rugby players on the island of Ireland.
To learn more about Brendan and his life-changing injury that he sustained during a rugby match in the 90s, we spoke with him and his family to show not only the importance of family strength, but also to illustrate the importance of the IRFU Charitable Trust and what they do for seriously injured players like Brendan.
An organisation that is close the Get Broadcasting’s heart, with a two-person crew, indecisive sunshine and beautiful Mallow countryside, we produced this film of the Glynn family telling their story.
